Als Thomas Borgmann und Willi Kellers im Januar 2015 zum Tenor-Festival ins New Yorker IBeam eingeladen wurden und ihnen Max Johnson als Bassist vom Veranstalter an die Seite gestellt wurde, war dies ein Glücksfall. Vom ersten Ton an war dies „one of the magical sets that you don’t forget“, wie es Bruce Lee Galanther von der Downtown Music Gallery N.Y. beschreibt, und für JazzRightNow, New York war es the Best Live Concert 2015.
